At-home blood test
Check blood sugar, thyroid, and energy from home
The Blood Sugar Panel is a one-time at-home blood test. It measures hemoglobin A1c, cortisol, TSH, free T4, free T3, thyroid peroxidase antibodies, and DHEA-S. You collect a small blood sample at home, mail it back, and a physician reviews the results. $165 once, shipping included. Not a diagnosis, and not a prescription.

What the panel measures
Seven markers. Each one is a measurement. None of them, alone or together, is a diagnosis from this page.
Hemoglobin A1c
Your average blood sugar over about three months.
People look at A1c when they want a longer view than a single glucose reading. Clinicians use it when they look at blood sugar. This result is a number for a physician to read, not a diabetes diagnosis.
Cortisol
A hormone the adrenal glands release, often called a stress hormone.
A single result is a snapshot. It does not diagnose an adrenal condition. A physician reads it next to the time of day and the rest of the panel.
TSH
Thyroid-stimulating hormone. The pituitary uses it to signal the thyroid.
TSH is the usual starting marker when someone asks about thyroid function. A high or low number is a reason for a physician to look, not a diagnosis by itself.
Free T4
The unbound form of thyroxine, a hormone the thyroid releases.
Free T4 helps a physician see how much thyroid hormone is circulating, alongside TSH.
Free T3
The unbound form of triiodothyronine, the more active thyroid hormone.
Free T3 is read with TSH and free T4. The panel includes it so the thyroid picture is not TSH alone.
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies (anti-TPO)
Antibodies the immune system can make against the thyroid.
Clinicians look at anti-TPO when they are asking whether the immune system is involved with the thyroid. A positive result still needs a physician. It is not a diagnosis.
DHEA-S
An adrenal hormone. The body uses it as a building block for other hormones.
People ask about DHEA-S alongside energy, stress, and aging questions. The number is context for a physician, not a treatment recommendation.

Your care team
Who reviews your results
A board-certified, US-licensed physician reviews the panel. VevaMD does not practice medicine and does not diagnose you from this page.
Board-Certified Physicians
A board-certified physician reviews your intake and decides whether any prescription is appropriate. VevaMD is a technology company, not a medical provider.
Licensed in Your State
The physician who reviews your intake is licensed to practice in the state where you live.
What the review is
The physician reads the seven markers in context. This purchase does not include a prescription or a medication shipment.
VevaMD is a wellness technology platform. All medical services are delivered by independent board-certified physicians in our provider network.
Who it is for
- Adults 18 and older who want an at-home look at blood sugar, thyroid markers, cortisol, and DHEA-S.
- People who notice low energy, weight that is hard to change, feeling cold, or a busy mind, and want those markers measured before a treatment conversation.
- Anyone starting or already considering a weight-loss program who wants a baseline panel a physician can read.
- People who would rather collect a small sample at home than take time off for a clinic blood draw.
Who it is not for
- Anyone in New York or New Jersey. At-home kits are not available in those states, and this panel does not offer a clinic draw.
- Anyone under 18.
- Anyone who needs emergency care. Chest pain, trouble breathing, or a sudden severe symptom is a 911 call, not a mail-in kit.
- Anyone looking for a diagnosis or a prescription from the checkout form. A physician still has to read the results.
At-home kit vs a clinic blood draw
Both end in a laboratory number a physician can read. The difference is where you give the sample, and whether the price is the one on this page.
| This kit | A clinic draw | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | At home | A clinic you travel to |
| Sample | Small sample with the device in the kit | A venous blood draw |
| Scheduling | You order online and mail the sample back | You book a visit and wait to be seen |
| Price | $165 once, shown before you pay | Depends on the clinic and your insurance |
| Review | A physician reviews the results | Whoever ordered the draw reviews them |
| Subscription | None. One payment. | Varies |

What happens next
You get a panel a physician has reviewed. If you want a physician to look at treatment for weight, start the weight-loss assessment. This purchase does not enroll you in that program and does not include medication.

What is an at-home blood test kit?
You order a kit, collect a small blood sample at home, and mail it back. A laboratory runs the markers on this page. A physician reviews the results. You do not go to a clinic for the draw.
What is an at-home A1c test measuring?
Hemoglobin A1c reflects average blood sugar over about three months. It is the blood-sugar marker on this panel. The result is for a physician to read. Ordering the kit does not diagnose diabetes.
What is included in this at-home thyroid test?
TSH, free T4, free T3, and thyroid peroxidase antibodies (anti-TPO). TSH is the signal from the pituitary to the thyroid. Free T4 and free T3 are thyroid hormones. Anti-TPO asks whether antibodies against the thyroid are present. A physician interprets the set.
What do cortisol and DHEA-S add?
Cortisol is an adrenal hormone often discussed with stress and energy. DHEA-S is another adrenal hormone the body uses as a building block. A single cortisol result is a snapshot, not a diagnosis of an adrenal condition.
Who should order this panel?
Adults who want blood sugar, thyroid, and adrenal markers measured at home, including people thinking about weight or energy. It is a baseline a physician can read. It is not a fit if you need urgent care, and it does not ship to New York or New Jersey.
Which symptoms do people hope this panel will help explain?
People ask about these markers when they notice low energy, weight that is hard to change, feeling cold, hair or skin changes, or a busy, wired feeling. The panel measures the markers listed here. It does not prove a cause, and it does not treat those symptoms.
Is this a finger-prick blood test?
You collect a small blood sample at home. The device in the kit presses on your upper arm. It is not a clinic blood draw, and you do not travel to a lab. Instructions are in the box.
How does the kit work, step by step?
You order and pay. The kit ships to the address you enter. You collect the sample, mail it back with the mailer in the kit, and the lab runs the panel. A physician reviews the results.
How long do results take?
After the lab receives your sample, results are usually ready in 7 to 10 days. Mail time comes before that. We do not promise a same-week result.
Who reviews the results?
A board-certified, US-licensed physician reviews them. VevaMD is a technology and marketing company, not a medical provider. The review is not a prescription and not a diagnosis delivered by this website.
How much does the Blood Sugar Panel cost?
The price is $165, paid once. Shipping is included. There is no membership, no refill, and no separate draw fee on this page. You see that price again before you pay.
Do you take insurance?
No. This is a self-pay panel. We do not bill insurance. A clinic blood draw can bill differently. That bill is not this price.
Can I order the kit in New York or New Jersey?
No. At-home kits are not available in New York or New Jersey. Checkout stops if the shipping state is NY or NJ. We do not send you to a clinic draw instead.
How is this different from going to a lab?
A clinic draw means travel, a venous sample, and a bill that depends on that clinic. This kit is a small sample you collect at home and mail back, at the price on this page. The same markers still need a physician to interpret them.
What happens after I get results?
You have a panel a physician has reviewed. If you want a physician to look at treatment for weight, the next step is the weight-loss assessment at vevamd.com/weight-loss. This purchase does not start that program and does not include medication.
Is this a diagnosis or a treatment?
No. The panel measures seven markers. It does not diagnose diabetes, a thyroid condition, or an adrenal condition, and it does not prescribe anything. A physician reads the numbers in context.
