Tell your clinician. Light spotting can happen in the first months of hormone therapy, but some bleeding needs an in-person check, so do not ignore it.
Get checked if
- Bleeding is heavy or lasts more than a few days
- Spotting continues past the first few months
- You start bleeding after a long time with no periods
Bleeding after menopause should be evaluated in person, even if it is light. Your clinician may refer you to a gynecologist.
Do not change or stop your hormones without talking to your clinician.
